2.2     We do not guarantee full, whole, timely, uninterrupted or continuous presentation of, or access to, the Materials.

We are not responsible for the content of these websites and do not necessarily endorse the material therein, but provide these links for your convenience only.  We are not responsible or liable for the availability or content of any other website linked to or from the Materials. 3.2     If you create any link or frame in relation to, in association with or as a result of your access or use of the Materials, you do so at your own risk. We reserve the right to object to or disable any such link or frame.

4     Usage Conditions

4.1     You may download, print, e-mail, transmit electronically and store reasonable copies of the Content purely for your personal use or for your internal business purposes.

(i)     reproduce, duplicate or copy the whole or any portion of the Website or Content, except to make reasonable copies as stated in Clause 4.1;

(iv)     whether manually or with the help of computer programs, download or attempt to download information for the purpose of creating or adding to an electronic search or retrieval facility (online or otherwise).

4.3     You may not decompile, reverse engineer or otherwise attempt to discover the source code of the Website, or permit or cause any other person to do so, without SAL’s prior written consent. 

5     RSS Feeds

5.1     RSS (Really Simple Syndication) service is a means by which the Website offers feeds of story headlines in XML format ("RSS Content") to you for the purpose of using RSS aggregators. It is provided to you free for non-commercial use. Any other uses, including but not limited to the incorporation of advertising into or the placement of advertising associated with or targeted towards the RSS Content, are strictly prohibited. You must use the RSS feeds as provided by the Website , and you may not edit or modify the text, content or links supplied without our prior written consent.

5.3     You must comply with all applicable laws and all limitations and restrictions placed by us on the use, display or distribution of any RSS Content; give us complete and accurate registration information when requested to do so; and not archive any of the RSS Content for access by users of your website at any future date after the RSS Content has been removed from the Website, the SLW Website and/or the LawNet2 Website (as the case may be). You acknowledge that the service must link and redirect to the appropriate LawNet2 web page when a user of your website clicks on the RSS Content (e.g. a headline).

5.4     Where applicable, we retain all ownership and other rights in the RSS Content, and any and all logos and trademarks used in connection with the RSS service. You must provide attribution to the Website in connection with your use of the RSS feeds.

5.5     We reserve the right to discontinue providing any or all of the RSS feeds at any time and to require you to cease displaying, distributing or otherwise using any or all of the RSS feeds for any reason including but not limited to your violation of any provision of the Terms. We assume no liability for any of your activities in connection with the RSS feeds or for your use of the RSS feeds in connection with your website.

6     General Disclaimer and Exclusion Of Liability

6.1     While we endeavour to ensure accuracy in the information presented so as to provide a high-quality service, we disclaim all warranties and representations (whether express or implied), to the fullest extent permissible under the law, as to the veracity, accuracy, completeness, format, currency or any other aspects of the Materials and their applications.

6.2     We do not warrant or represent, in particular, the following:

(i) that access to the Website or the Materials will be fault-free, secure, timely or uninterrupted, or that your access is protected from software viruses or any other computer code, files or programs designed to interrupt, destroy or limit the functionality of any computer software or hardware or telecommunications equipment; and

(ii) that any information transmitted by you by electronic mail or otherwise through or to us or anyone will be accurately received or secure.

6.3     Use of the Materials, and the electronic transmission of any document or information from you through or to us, are entirely at your own risk.

6.4     Our liability for any damage, claim or loss arising from any inability to access the Website or any or all of the Materials at any time, or from any use of the Website or the Materials or their applications, or from any reliance on the  Website or the Materials, howsoever caused, whether arising in contract, tort (including but not limited to negligence, misrepresentation, defamation and infringement of any intellectual property rights) or otherwise, is excluded to the fullest extent permissible under the law.

7     Restrictions on use of MAS Proprietary Material

7.1     Except as otherwise provided, MAS Proprietary Material (comprising the materials under the section "MAS Notices and Directives" and any material belonging to the Monetary Authority of Singapore ("MAS")) shall not be reproduced, republished, uploaded, posted, transmitted or otherwise distributed in any way, without the prior written permission of MAS.

7.2     You may download one copy of the MAS Proprietary Material onto a single computer for your own personal non-commercial use provided that you keep intact all accompanying copyright and other proprietary notices.

7.3        Modification of any of the MAS Proprietary Material or use of the MAS Proprietary Material for any other purpose will be a violation of MAS' copyright and other intellectual property rights.

8     Disclaimer of Warranties and Liability regarding use of MAS Proprietary Material

8.1     The MAS Proprietary Material is provided on an "as is" basis without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent permitted by law, MAS does not warrant and hereby disclaims any warranty as to the accuracy, correctness, reliability, currency, timeliness, non-infringement, title, merchantability or fitness for any particular purpose of the MAS Proprietary Material.

8.2     MAS shall also not be liable for any damage or loss of any kind, howsoever caused, as a result (direct or indirect) of the use of the MAS Proprietary Material, including but not limited to any damage or loss suffered as a result of reliance on the contents of the MAS Proprietary Material.

8.3     The MAS Proprietary Material does not constitute financial or other professional advice. If financial or other professional advice is required, services of a competent professional should be sought.

9     Applicable Laws

9.1     The Terms, and the access or use of the Website and the Materials, are governed by the laws of Singapore. Any claim relating to the access or use of the Website and the Materials shall be heard by Singapore Courts.

10     Variations

10.1     We may revise the Terms at any time by updating this webpage. You should visit this webpage from time to time and review the then-current Terms because they are binding on you. We may modify or discontinue any part or feature that form part of the Materials at any time, with or without notice to you, and without any liability whatsoever on our part.
